Urban wildlife control

Skunk in the park

Vancouver is home to a large range of wildlife - everything from coyotes, eagles, and dolphins to deer, raccoons, and skunks.

The City is not legally responsible for wildlife, though the Parks Control Bylaw prohibits feeding wildlife within parks.

The City works with other agencies and levels of government to deal with many wildlife issues within City boundaries, including Musqueam Lands, but not UBC and the University Endowment Lands.
