Reducing consumption of our water supply
As part of our Greenest City 2020 initiative, we are making it our goal to reduce per capita water consumption by 33% from 2006 levels.
The City has introduced a new water meter policy, effective January 2012, which requires that all new one- and two-family homes install a water consumption meter.
