Improving parks and beaches in Vancouver - Renfrew Ravine

The Vancouver Park Board manages more than 200 parks and 40 major recreation facilities. We are continually working to:

  • Ensure that parks and recreation facilities are properly designed and well-maintained to meet community needs
  • Expand the park and recreatiion system to meet future population growth

Jericho beach restoration and wharf removal

Jericho Beach

Following reports that the Jericho Marginal Wharf facility at Jericho Beach Park was in disrepair, the Vancouver Parks Board approved a concept plan to demolish the wharf and restore the natural beach and foreshore.

Kitsilano Beach Park tennis courts

Kitsilano Beach Park tennis courts

The Vancouver Park Board is renovating the tennis courts at Kitsilano Beach. The five northern tennis courts will be reconstructed to meet tournament standards including new drainage and fencing.
