Board Meetings

The Vancouver Park Board is one of the only elected bodies of its kind in Canada. As with all other civic elected posts in the City of Vancouver, seven Park Board Commissioners are elected every three years. The last civic election took place in November 2008 and the next election will be held in November 2011.

The Park Board generally holds meetings every two weeks at the Park Board Administration Office, 2099 Beach Avenue in Stanley Park. In addition, two committees of the Board - Services and Budgets, and Planning and Environment - generally meet once a month.
