The Vancouver Police Department provides police record information to residents of Vancouver, B.C.

Citizens who reside outside the City of Vancouver should go to their local police agency for police record check services.

The VPD's fingerprinting service is available to anyone, regardless of where you reside.

 

 


 

Current Processing Date

Police Records Check applications are processed in order of date received.

We have completed applications received on or before May 9, 2013.

A Police Records Check that requires further research may take up to four weeks or more to be processed.

Scam Alert

Vancouver Police are aware of a scam involving people from other countries applying for work in Vancouver through employment agencies. These companies promise work in exchange for large sums of money to be sent by wire transfer for security background checks.

The VPD does not request payment by money wire transfer for any of their services.
