Residential parking permit fees and areas

City of Vancouver residential parking permits give residents priority in high-demand areas.

The following list includes details of Resident Permit Parking (RPP) areas, including:

  • Annual fees
  • Expiry dates
  • Maps

It also includes parking permit prices, and expiry dates for Vancouver Resident Permit Parking (VRPP) areas.

For locations of VRPP and Resident Parking Only (RPO) zones, contact 3-1-1, and ask to speak with the Neighbourhood Transportation and Parking Branch.

Know your parking permit zone

Your parking permit is only valid in the permit parking area it is assigned to.

For example, you cannot use a West End parking permit to park in the South Granville resident permit zone.

Prorated pricing

Parking permit prices are prorated quarterly, and you will get a partial refund if you move out of the permit zone, provided you have more than 3 months left on your permit and return your parking sticker.

5% GST is included in parking permit prices.

You pay for the permit when you apply for it. You can pay by cheque, debit or credit card at all locations, and by cash at some locations.
