Submit your completed application as soon as possible to be eligible for processing in 2023.
A noise by-law exception permit allows construction projects (or the set-up of special events) to proceed outside of normal working days or hours under certain circumstances.

When construction-related noise is permitted
Construction-related noise is permitted during the following hours:

Saturday | 10am - 8pm | 7am - 8pm |
Sunday or holiday (day of) | No construction-related noise permitted | 10am - 8pm |
Outside of these hours, construction noise is only allowed with a noise by-law exception permit.
Steps to getting a noise by-law exception permit
We recommend that you apply for your permit as early as possible and at least three weeks in advance of your requested exemption date.
